We built our network a little differently than the other guys.
For starters, we proactively monitor our network and all end-points. This means if an issue with your connection should occur (perhaps wind blows your antenna out of alignment, or your neighbor plants a really nice pine tree right between you and our tower) we'll probably know about it before a major issue is noticed by you and schedule our installer to come correct the problem at your residence or business (we might not be able to fix that tree, but we'll try!). The other guys wait for you to call in with a repair complaint!
Secondly, we believe in providing the best service to our customers. This means, if you purchase a 10Meg plan and, for whatever reason, can only get 5Meg we won't charge you for the 10Meg plan.... instead we'll put you on the 5Meg plan. The other guys charge for plans that often aren't achievable at your location.
Finally, with the other guys, when you purchase a 5Meg plan that's all you get for download; and let's not even talk about upload speeds - can you say a snail with a cinder block tied around its neck? At Indigo, we think differently. If there is idle bandwidth on our network, we allow our customers to burst for short periods of time and use that bandwidth. This means that uploading small pictures to Facebook or e-mail will go extremely quickly. Browsing the web is also accelerated for both uploads and downloads. It's almost like getting a 20+Meg connection for the price of a 5 or 10Meg connection!

How Indigo Xtreme Broadband Works
Indigo Xtreme is a fixed (not mobile or for use on cellular phones) wireless broadband product that delivers a secure, high quality, fast Internet connection right to your home or business. A wireless antenna connects to a small arm which is mounted onto your home (much smaller than a satellite dish). The antenna points to one of our towers to receive a signal for a high speed connection. Our installer will then run a small cable from the antenna outside your house to your computer or router inside your house. While most people that request service can get Indigo Xtreme Broadband, occasionally a tree, building, or other obstruction may prevent us from installing your service. Our installer will only install your connection if we can get you a quality connection, and will explain options to you if an obstructions prevents installation.
